ACDIS update: Check out these new CDI Week Activities from the Further Education Committee!
Every so often, there is an investigation so difficult that it demands the greatest minds to solve… And that time is coming this CDI Week. We invite you to join us September 15-19 for the mystery of the century: CDI and the Case of the Missing Documentation!
During CDI Week, ACDIS seeks to celebrate and recognize the efforts of CDI professionals, like yourself. We do this by sharing the latest industry news, cutting-edge resources and education, and, most importantly, fun pursuits for your CDI teams.
To that end, the 2025 Furthering Education Committee has started brainstorming activities for you and your team to partake in during CDI Week. Last month, ACDIS shared a CDI Week activity list that your department could use to celebrate.
This month, we are happy to announce the addition of two new items to the CDI Week resource pool:
- Self-Care Sleuth Handout: During CDI Week, we take time to celebrate the efforts and impact of every CDI professional—and you shouldn't forget yourself among them! This "CDI Sleuth's Guide to Calm and Clarity" handout is a fun, detective-themed compilation of self-care ideas you and/or your department can do during CDI Week, submitted by ACDIS Furthering Education Committee members.
- BINGO Card: Use this CDI detective-themed BINGO sheet on your own or as a fun competition with your team to see who can get a BINGO and/or a "black out" first during CDI Week! This activity was created by members of the ACDIS Furthering Education Committee.
