ACDIS update: Deadline for 2026 poster application, two Achievement Awards extended till December 19!

CDI Strategies - Volume 19, Issue 49

You can still get involved in two of the most exciting parts of the annual ACDIS conference (taking place April 20-23, 2026 in Chicago)!

The deadline for the CDI Professional of the Year, the Diversity in CDI awards, as well as the ACDIS poster presentations has been extended until Friday, December 19, 2025.

What is an ACDIS poster? These posters provide CDI professionals an opportunity to show the CDI community what you, your team, and your organization have accomplished at the conference and inspire other conference attendees in the processPosters detail an innovative project, newly established protocol, or successful educational outreach at your organization, and poster creators can offer insight and answer questions from passers-by during a designated break at the conference.

If your group’s poster is selected, one member will receive $200 off conference admission, and all members will receive four ACDIS CEUs. You can learn more about the requirements for poster presentations here. To submit your poster idea for consideration, click here!

Just like the posters, the ACDIS Achievement Awards are a central part of the annual ACDIS conference. Though we’ve closed the nomination period for two of the awards already, we hope to garner a few more nominations for the CDI Professional of the Year award and the Diversity in CDI award.

You can learn more about those awards by reading ACDIS Editorial Manager, Products and Events, Karla Kozak’s note here.
