ACDIS update: Deadline extended to speak at a 2024 ACDIS event, apply by July 31!

CDI Strategies - Volume 17, Issue 29

The application deadline for speakers at the 2024 ACDIS national conference, ACDIS Physician Advisor Forum, and ACDIS Symposium: Outpatient CDI, has been extended until Monday, July 31. The conference will take place April 8-11, with the other two in-person events taking place directly before on April 7-8, in Indianapolis, Indiana!

So many great applications have already been submitted for our upcoming events, but we have plenty of room for your application.

Even as our association continues to grow in number, ACDIS still feels like a close-knit family, in large part because of the like-minded professionals within it who want to share their experiences and help others excel in the industry. If you haven’t presented at a large event, now just might be your moment! You never know who in the crowd needs to hear your CDI story and learn from your expertise.

Each session is comprised of a 45-minute presentation and 15 minutes of Q&A and you are welcome to apply with one or more co-speakers (Note: you will be required to submit basic info about them during the application process)! If you’d like some direction, we’re still looking for more of the following topics in 2024:

  • Outpatient CDI and expansion
  • Pediatric CDI
  • Professional development and leadership

For those interested, you can even apply to speak at more than one of these events! You’d just need to complete a separate application for each session you wish to submit. And besides the chance to give back to your CDI peers, selected speakers have an opportunity to advance their own professional development and are eligible for free admission to the event at which they are presenting (up to two speakers per session).

Participate in this sharing community and speak for ACDIS! You can click here to apply before the July 31 deadline, or copy/paste this URL into your browser: https://acdis.org/24speaker. To get more information or discuss a speaking topic, please email ACDIS Director of Programming Rebecca Hendren at rhendren@acdis.org.
