ACDIS update: Enjoy networking groups and meet-ups at the 2023 ACDIS national conference

The ACDIS national team is hard at work to make the upcoming 2023 ACDIS national conference more personally and professionally engaging than ever before. With that, we are currently organizing a daily chance for networking amidst the three days of the conference. CDI professionals who are first time attendees, in unconventional settings, employed in specific roles, or want to connect with others in their state will have the chance throughout the conference experience to meet up, share advice, and make friends!

First on Monday, May 8, we will have a First-Time Attendee table set up to help first-time attendees connect with each other on the first day of the conference. You can also go there to get tips and tricks from ACDIS staff to help you have a better conference experience, and even meet some of our CDI Boot Camp instructors!

Then on Tuesday, May 9, we’re planning an Eat, Meet, & Grow networking session during the day’s lunch break. Look for discussion groups dedicated to things such as outpatient CDI, pediatric CDI, CDI educators and second-level reviewers, and new and aspiring leaders, all led by ACDIS CDI instructors and staff to facilitate networking!

Last, on Wednesday, May 10, our lunch break will be a chance to Meet Your Neighbors. This will be a chance for everyone to look for a table with your state and meet colleagues near you, as well as connect for the future. No chapter for your state? Consider starting one!
