ACDIS update: Join us for an ACDIS Quarterly Member Call on May 21 at 1 p.m. EST!
ACDIS members are encouraged to join us for the next ACDIS Quarterly Member Call on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 1 p.m. Eastern. This second quarter call will feature a discussion of the new draft of the ACDIS/AHIMA Guidelines for Achieving a Compliant Query Practice and provide an opportunity for listeners to ask questions. Deanne Wilk, BSN, RN, CCDS, CCDS-O, CDIP, CCS, ACDIS CDI education director, and Vaughn Matacale, MD, CCDS, will discuss important updates and what CDI professionals need to know.
The ACDIS/AHIMA Guidelines for Achieving a Compliant Query Practice is open for public comment until June 12, 2026. The work group will reconvene to discuss the public comments, and a final version is expected to be published in the summer.
