ACDIS update: Put the CDI Week State of the Industry webinar on your calendar
Insight into the industry can provide CDI professionals with direction for their own professional careers and CDI programs. Join ACDIS Associate Editorial Director Linnea Archibald as she hosts a panel on the state of the CDI industry with members of the Furthering Education Committee and a subject matter expert from 3M Health Information Systems. The panel will occur on Thursday, September 15, 2022, 1–2:30 p.m. Eastern, so make sure to register and mark it on your calendar!
ACDIS hosts this free webinar yearly as part of CDI Week celebrations to give CDI professionals the chance to compare themselves and their CDI programs with their peers, as well as identify areas for improvement. The panel will discuss the CDI Week Industry Survey findings and its implications for the future related to productivity, staff engagement in the remote setting, provider engagement, outpatient CDI and risk adjustment, and CDI involvement in denial trends. There will also be an open question and answer session.
Beyond the insight gained, you can earn 1.5 continuing education units towards fulfilling the requirements of the Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS) certification and CCDS-O (outpatient) certification by attending, as well.
