ACDIS update: Quarterly call moved to Thursday, August 25

This Thursday, August 18, most of the ACDIS leadership team will be out of the office attending services for Melissa Varnavas’ passing. As a result, the next ACDIS quarterly call has been rescheduled to next Thursday, August 25 at 1-2 p.m. eastern. The following information remains the same:

ACDIS Director of Programming Rebecca Hendren will sit down with Kim Conner, BSN, CCDS, CCDS-O, a CDI education specialist for ACDIS/HCPro, Sheri Blanchard, RN, MSN, FNP-BC, CCDS, CCS, corporate director of CDI at Orlando Health in Orlando, Florida, and Deanne Wilk, BSN, RN, CCDS, CDIP, CCDS-O, CCS, director of CDI at Penn State Health, to discuss creating organizational clinical criteria.

Quarterly calls are a benefit of ACDIS membership and qualify for one (1) continuing education unit for the CCDS/CCDS-O recertification. They are structured to address concerns related to the CDI industry as well as deliver news on the association.
