ACDIS update: Thanks for a great “mosaic” filled CDI Week

In Tibetan Buddhist traditions, a sand mandala is a mosaic created from colored sand. Monks work from the center out sifting colored particles into ornate patterns before ritualistically dismantling the creation. The act serves as a metaphor for the transitory nature of material life.

While ACDIS’ 2018 CDI Week celebrations have come to a close, we hope that the theme of this year’s celebration “CDI Mosaic: Creating a Collaborative Portrait,” won’t share the fate of Buddhist mandalas but instead serve as resource materials for year-long mission for your CDI programs and teams.
