CCDS update: Update your contact info to ensure you recertify on time

CDI Strategies - Volume 11, Issue 50

CCDS Coordinator Penny Richards just sent out another round of snail mail letters to CCDS holders who are more than 45 days late on their recertification. These folks have surpassed the grace period for their recertification and have entered the “inactive” stage.

It is CCDS holders’ responsibility to know their recertification due date (two years from the date of the exam), but ACDIS does send out multiple email reminders to the address on file with the CCDS office (Penny Richards) before sending a physical letter after the 45-day period expires. Please note that the CCDS database is separate from the ACDIS membership database.

To ensure that you don’t fall into the group receiving a letter in the mail, make sure you inform Penny Richards (prichards@acdis.org) of any contact information changes. You can also email her to verify that your contact information is correct or to ask about your CCDS recertification due date.
