Conference corner: Reach new professional heights and apply to speak at 2026 ACDIS events!
Speaking in front of a crowd may seem like a very big “trust fall” exercise with strangers, but as dozens of CDI professionals can tell you, there is no better place to get outside your comfort zone and try your hand at presenting on a CDI topic you’re passionate about than an ACDIS event! Right now, applications are open for several ACDIS events occurring in 2026, and there are several benefits to making the leap:
- Complimentary admission: Selected speakers (up to two per session!) attend the event for free
- CEUs: Speakers may claim 2 CEUs per 60-minute session presented at ACDIS events. Be sure to save a copy of the agenda and learning objectives to submit with your recertification.
- Presentation experience: There’s no more welcoming place than the ACDIS podium! Hone your speaking skills with an engaged audience that wants you to succeed.
- New connections: This unique opportunity to share your experiences with your peers always leads to networking, whether it be through answering questions, listening to others’ experiences, or brainstorming solutions with a group.
ACDIS is currently seeking speakers to present at the following in-person events in Chicago next year:
- ACDIS Conference (April 20–23, 2026)
- ACDIS Symposium: Outpatient CDI (April 19–20, 2026)
- ACDIS Physician Advisor Forum (April 19–20, 2026)
If you’d like some direction, click here for a list of which topics we’re hoping to see more of at each event in 2026. Vendors are welcome to submit applications but will be subject to the same rigorous committee review as all other applications. ALL proposed sessions should refrain from advertising a product, outlining a use case for a product, or including any other form of commercial bias.
