Director’s Note: 2015 Speaker Application Deadline Extended to Sept. 5

CDI Strategies - Volume 8, Issue 18

Due to the heightened demand in presenting at the Eighth Annual Conference at the San Antonio Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas, May 19-21, 2015, the speaker application deadline has been extended through Friday, Sept. 5.

Please click this linkand complete the form. Speakers are welcome to submit more than one session, but must fill out a separate form for each submission. Conference sessions are typically one hour in length. Selected presenters will be expected to submit materials at a later date.

Be sure to complete all the fields. Leaving the form open for a lengthy period may cause it to “time out,” so you may wish to draft your submission in a separate word document and paste it into the appropriate fields to ensure proper transmission.

Although all ideas are welcome the 2015 Conference Committee has chosen the following four tracks as main topics for discussion:

  • Track 1: Management and leadership (sessions on remote CDI management, and battling EHR problems like copy/paste and “note bloat” welcomed)
  • Track 2: Clinical and coding (sessions on HCCs are welcomed)
  • Track 3: Quality and regulatory initiatives
  • Track 4: Innovative CDI (sessions on settings like LTAC and critical access, inpatient psychiatry, and physician advisors welcomed)
