Director’s Note: Cheers to CDI Week successes!

The third annual CDI Week celebration was a tremendous success. More than 2,000 individuals registered for our free webinars, breaking records with our platform vendor! ACDIS Associate Director Melissa Varnavas attended a New Hampshire ACDIS Chapter meeting on Wednesday and our Membership Services Director hosted both internal and CDI Talk trivia contests. Internally, we also held a little open-house party of our own complete with cake, grape and orange soda, grapes and cheese puffs.

Many programs shared how they celebrated CDI Week and we, in turn, shared a number of these stories on the ACDIS Blog and on out to our social media networks on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Some made M&Ms imprinted with “CDS” and “ICD-10,” some had professional photographs taken of your CDI teams, some created posters and displays touting this year’s theme “ICD-10: Preparing for Tomorrow Today!” And one group even created a video explaining their CDI program.
