Director’s Note: Materials available for CDI Week planning

CDI Strategies - Volume 6, Issue 18
National CDI Week celebrations will soon be here. This year’s event takes place September 17-21. On Monday, ACDIS members will receive an industry overview survey and analysis. Each day that week, ACDIS members will receive a special email Q&A from industry experts and CDI professionals working in the field on a number of hot-button topics. In addition, ACDIS members will have the opportunity to listen to the following two free webinars:
- Monday, September 17: CDI: What’s in it for the physician?
- Thursday, September 20: Introduction to CDI
Note that participation in these webinars is limited to the first 1,250 registrants, but they will be archived permanently on the ACDIS website as a free resource.
This year’s CDI Week theme is "Physicians and CDI: Joining Forces in Clinical Documentation Excellence," and we have developed a free poster which ACDIS members and visitors can download and use to promote your CDI efforts.
Under the CDI Week tab of the ACDIS website, there are also free downloadable CDI Week logos, PowerPoint presentations, media kit, the entire 2011 Q&A series, and links to the ACDIS Store where T-shirts, mugs, and other items are available. We’ve just added a new glass water bottle and a new travel coffee mug—we hope you take a look!
We look forward to celebrating CDI Week with you and will be providing additional suggestions for CDI Week activities in the September 13th edition of CDI Strategies and on the CDI Week page of the website.
