Local chapter update: Apply for CEUs using the leadership request form

CDI Strategies - Volume 18, Issue 18

By using the Local Chapter Leadership Request Form, chapter leaders can request multiple different services from ACDIS national to boost their chapters! This includes requesting a book or webinar resource, an updated local chapter roster, or materials to be uploaded on the chapter page of the ACDIS website, and more. Speaking of more—one of the request forms biggest functions is to make your chapter presentations and educational sessions even more valuable to your members with ACDIS CEU credit!

If you haven’t taken advantage of this benefit yet, here are the basic requirements to submit a CEU request for your next event:

  • Training sessions need to be a minimum of one hour in length per CEU, excluding opening remarks, breaks, and informal discussions
  • The topics of training must be CDI-related, such as ICD-10, clinical disease diagnosis, disease process, coding, DRG, reimbursement, etc.
  • The application must include speaker bio(s) with credentials, learning objectives, benefits to the attendees, and a timed agenda
  • You must apply at least 30 days prior to the event using the Leadership Request Form

Looking for more specifics on the application? Click here to see all the requirements and as always, reach out to us at info@acdis.org with any questions!
