Local chapter update: Chapter leaders can now use the updated ACDIS Local Chapter Leadership Toolkit!
After extensive review by the ACDIS Chapter Advisory Committee, we are happy to announce the updated ACDIS Local Chapter Leadership Toolkit has been posted! All chapter leaders are encouraged to look over these resources now and in the future for guidance about leading a chapter.
The toolkit features information from ACDIS as well as advice from seasoned leaders with documents on topics such as:
- Hosting your first meeting
- Virtual meetings
- Expanding participation
- PowerPoint templates
- Sample onsite volunteer duties
- Sample meetings in a can
- Vendor involvement
- Soliciting and evaluating speakers
- Leadership team building
- Sample chapter bylaws
- And more!

April:
- The Michigan ACDIS chapter meets Thursday, April 13, 2023, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., via webinar. The program is titled, “Clinical Validity,” and will be presented by Elana Bright, BSN, RN, Julia Lehman, BSN, RN. For information, contact Ange Clay (aclay2@hfhs.org).
- The Illinois ACDIS chapter meets Thursday, April 20, 2023, 12-1 p.m., via webinar. The program is titled, “CDI Jeopardy,” and will be presented by Emilie Navidad-McDermid, BSN, RN, CCDS, Dottie Fanning, BSN, RN, CCM, CCDS, and Jeneth Esquivel-Salinas, MSN, RN, CCDS.
