Local chapter update: Free webinar available on giving presentations to encourage new speakers!

CDI Strategies - Volume 17, Issue 34

A big step in developing professionally is speaking in front of others, and knowing how to is half the battle. Local chapters and networking groups can plan various kinds of meetings, but having a speaker present on a CDI-related topic is one of the best ways to foster education and professional development. That is why ACDIS recently released a free how-to webinar on this very subject!

During this webinar, CDI Education Specialist Deanne Wilk, MPS, BSN, RN, CCDS, CCDS-O, CDIP, CCS, unpacks the nuances of what makes a presentation great and offers insight for those looking to improve their presentation skills and connect with their audience effectively. During this session, listeners will:

  • Learn how to prepare and organize objectives and content for a presentation
  • Develop their ability to design a presentation
  • Understand key concepts for delivery of a presentation

Feel free to share this webinar with your leadership team, upcoming speakers, and even your whole chapter/networking group to encourage future presentations. Click here to access the webinar now!
