Local chapter update: How to apply for CEUs for your local event!

Who doesn’t love a good CEU? But you know what’s even better than a CEU?

Receiving CEUs for local chapter events.

Oh yes. Here are the basic requirements:

  • Local chapter leaders must apply at least 30 days prior to the event using the Leadership Request Form
  • Training sessions need to be a minimum of one hour in length, excluding opening remarks, breaks, informal discussions. Note: One CEU is provided per hour of instruction
  • The topics of training must be CDI-related, such as ICD-10, clinical disease diagnosis, disease process, coding, DRG, reimbursement, etc.
  • The application must include speaker bio(s) with credentials, learning objectives, benefits to the attendees, and a timed agenda

  • The Wisconsin ACDIS chapter meets Thursday, June 19, 1-3 p.m., via webinar.   • The Massachusetts ACDIS chapter meets Thursday, July 10, 12-1:30 p.m., via webinar.
