Local chapter update: How to invite folks from out of state to your virtual meetings

CDI Strategies - Volume 16, Issue 32

ACDIS local chapter meetings provide their members with opportunities to network, learn, and improve their professional development. Past helping the local community of CDI professionals, local chapter leaders are welcome to open their doors further as well. If you are among the many planning and conducting virtual meetings for your chapter, you’re welcome to open access to the webinar to people outside of your geographic area as well. Especially for those living in states with no chapter or one that meets irregularly, this provides a chance to enjoy the benefits of education and community. It also provides the chapter hosting the meeting more attendees to participate, join discussions, and give feedback.

Have a virtual meeting you’d like to open to others? Send word to the national ACDIS team at acdis-inquiries@simplifycompliance.com or reach out to Associate Editor Jess Fluegel (jfluegel@acdis.org), and we’ll make sure to add a note to the event listing. After that, your meeting details will include this open invitation each week in CDI Strategies and on your chapter page right up until the event date!

The following is a list of upcoming events for ACDIS local chapters. Visit your local chapter’s webpage on the ACDIS site for additional information about upcoming meetings. To join a chapter if you haven’t already or to update your chapter contact information/affiliation, click here.
