Local chapter update: How to request a chapter roster

CDI Strategies - Volume 16, Issue 15

ACDIS is implementing a new method for local chapter leaders to go about requesting information, including your chapter roster. Instead of sending emails directly to the national team, you will now be able to make all requests using a simple online survey.

The ACDIS Local Chapter Leadership Request survey allows you to request your local chapter or networking group roster with a few simple clicks!

Why is the chapter roster important? Using the online membership roster frees local chapter leaders from burdensome roster maintenance. It also includes three important questions that can help leaders as they plan their meetings for the year and consider leadership transitions—with respondents indicating whether they are interested in hosting a meeting, speaking at an upcoming event, or volunteering to help on the leadership committee.

Leaders should be requesting the roster from national on a regular basis, connecting with any new members, and reaching out to anyone who responded with some level of interest in providing support for the chapter. Doing so shows those new members that we value their interest and helps them feel quickly connected to their local CDI community.

Should you have an immediate need (to set up a call with ACDIS national, etc.,) please reach out to ACDIS Editorial Director Melissa Varnavas (acdis-inquiries@simplifycompliance.com).
