Local chapter update: Keep your members connected

Local chapter leaders do everything they can to keep members connected, especially during these times of social distancing. Many are holding virtual meetings in place of in-person ones, at times opening these events to any local chapter members even those from different states. Still, it can be hard to keep people connected and engaged with one another.

So, bring the fun back into things!

Just because you can’t meet in person, or even if you are having trouble making meetings virtual, there are things you can do to let your members have fun and connect. For example, the California ACDIS chapter is keeping their members engaged with their online “show off your pet” contest.

To participate, California ACDIS members need to post a picture of their pet, “fury, scaly, or whatever kind” with the hashtag #CaACDISbuddies. Four random winners will be selected to win a $25 Amazon gift card. And members can post as many times as they want: the more posts, the more chances to win!
