Local chapter update: Tell us soon! What will you be doing for ACDIS 2025 State Pride Day?

CDI Strategies - Volume 19, Issue 17

Hi local chapter leaders!

Are you coming to the ACDIS conference in Kissimmee, Florida, May 4–7? Those of you who have attended in the past may recall that the second full day of the event (Tuesday, May 6) is State Pride Day! Attendees are encouraged to dress in attire representative of their home state (such as sports gear, etc.). This makes it easier for attendees to pick other folks from their state out in the crowd!

During lunch on this day, local chapter leaders are also encouraged to pick a table  to decorate with a theme of their choice to help foster networking within their geographic region. (For example, one year the Florida chapter leaders brought an inflatable palm tree, the Kentucky leaders brought Derby-themed décor, and the Maine chapter leaders wore lobster hats.)

Next week’s local chapter update in CDI Strategies will highlight local chapters’ conference plans including:

  • Leaders’ names (or a person designated as the conference chapter point person if no leaders are attending)
  • State theme dress recommendations
  • Plans for lunch State Pride Day
  • Any after-hours events the chapter has planned

To let us know your plans, please fill out this brief form: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/chapterplans25

If you have any questions about the conference or planning your State Pride Day lunch gathering, please feel free to reach out!
