Local chapter update: Upcoming call and updated resources for chapter leaders

CDI Strategies - Volume 17, Issue 24

We know how much it takes to run a chapter, and ACDIS is here to help. As part of the ACDIS Chapter Advisory Committee’s plans to provide support for local chapter leaders, the committee is hosting a summer panel discussion on Friday, July 28, at 1 p.m. eastern to offer tools and concrete advice!

If you have burning questions about speaker solicitation, agenda building, and leadership organization, feel free to reach out to the ACDIS team at info@acdis.org to let us know before the panel! You can also bring your questions to the live call during the dedicated time for Q&A.

In the meantime, remember the Chapter Advisory Committee has also reviewed and compiled the updated ACDIS Local Chapter Leadership Toolkit, which has an abundance of resources and documents for leaders on topics such as:

  • Hosting your first meeting
  • Virtual meetings
  • Expanding participation
  • PowerPoint templates
  • Sample onsite volunteer duties
  • Sample meetings in a can
  • Vendor involvement
  • Soliciting and evaluating speakers
  • Leadership team building
  • Sample chapter bylaws
  • And more!
