Local Chapter updates: Local connections at the national conference

CDI Strategies - Volume 11, Issue 19

The 10th annual ACDIS conference, May 9-12, in Las Vegas, Nevada, is less than a week away. While the event offers a great opportunity to connect with CDI professionals from around the country, you can also spend some time catching up with your local CDI comrades.

Day 2 (Thursday, May 11) is always “state pride day.” ACDIS encourages all attendees to wear an item of clothing emblematic of their home states. At lunchtime, local chapter leaders claim a table for their state’s attendees. Last year, the Ohio chapter leaders brought along lighted marquee letters spelling out OHIO and the Florida chapter leaders brought their own inflatable palm tree to create their own personal tropical paradise. Be creative!

To contact and coordinate your plans with fellow chapter members and Local Chapter leaders, make sure to download and use the ACDIS Conference App, available in the Google Play and Apple App stores.

If you are a chapter leader planning something for the Day 2 lunch, please email Melissa Varnavas (mvarnavas@acdis.org) and Linnea Archibald (larchibald@acdis.org) so they can compile a comprehensive list for local chapter members.

The following is a list of all the upcoming events for ACDIS local chapters. If you have an upcoming event you would like to include, please email Melissa Varnavas and Linnea Archibald.
