Note from the Associate Editorial Director: What to expect on the ACDIS Podcast in the coming months
by Linnea Archibald
Can you believe the first quarter of 2025 is just about coming to a close already? Time flies when you’re having good CDI fun! As we look ahead into the second quarter of the year, I wanted to spend a bit of time highlighting the topics we plan to cover on the ACDIS Podcast—it’s a great line-up, if we do say so ourselves!
Every other week, a member of the ACDIS team (or sometimes a few members of the team!) gets to sit down in front of the microphone and discuss a CDI topic with an industry expert. It’s one of our favorite things to do because it lets us connect directly with our guests and you, our listeners.
Our aim with the ACDIS Podcast is that it fuels your professional development and daily work. To do this, not only do we try to provide information aimed at illuminating a facet of CDI work, but, for two years now, we also offer the opportunity to claim 0.5 ACDIS CEU for listening within the first two days after an episode is published.
While we know many of you already take advantage of these opportunities, I wanted to highlight it because we’re often asked about where to find free CEU opportunities, and listening to the Podcast is a great answer. We hope you’re taking advantage of that!
Now, here’s what you can expect us to cover in the coming months:
- March 12, 2025 | Advisory Board series: Patient Safety Indicators with Tami McMasters-Gomez, MHL, BS, CCDS, CDIP, CCS-P, director of coding and CDI programs at UC Davis Health, and Keisha Downes, MBA-HM, BSN, RN, CCDS, CCS, vice president middle revenue cycle for Beth Israel Lahey Healthin Massachusetts
- Reminder: You have until 11 p.m. Eastern tomorrow, March 14, to claim the 0.5 ACDIS CEU for this week’s episode!
