CDI Strategies - Volume 19, Issue 4

by Karla Kozak

As a bitter cold settles in across New England, I can’t help but dream of warmer weather. Heat, humidity, and sunshine, there’s just nothing like it, especially with wind chills below zero and piles of snow just outside my window. And while there may still be a few chilly winter months left for many of us, at least we can look forward to the Florida sun in May as we gather beneath the palm trees for the 2025 ACDIS Conference in Kissimmee, Florida.

Not sure what to expect from this year’s ACDIS conference? Or perhaps you want to see what else you can experience while in Florida? I invite you to join ACDIS Director Rebecca Hendren and me for a special webinar on Wednesday, February 12 at 1 p.m. Eastern. We’ll discuss exciting developments for this year’s conference, including:

  • New tracks
  • Hot topics
  • Inspiring keynotes
  • Numerous networking opportunities
  • CEUs
  • And more!

We’ll also provide tips and tricks for making the most of your conference experience, whether you’re an ACDIS conference veteran or experiencing the conference for the very first time! Plus, we’ll be joined by our friend and colleague, Kelly Sutton, MHL, BSN, RN, CCDS, CCS, CDI education specialist at HCPro. As a Florida resident, Kelly will share what she loves about her state and how you can best utilize your free time to explore the surrounding areas.

You’ll also hear about our two events taking place immediately before the conference: the ACDIS Symposium: Outpatient CDI, designed specifically for outpatient CDI professionals or those looking to start an outpatient program at their organizations, and the ACDIS Physician Advisor Forum, an event intended for both new and experienced physician advisors.

Click here to register for this free webinar! The ACDIS team can’t wait to help you find your inspiration this May 4-7 in Florida!
