Note from the Editorial Manager: One more chance to speak at the ACDIS Symposium: Outpatient CDI or the ACDIS Physician Advisor Forum!

CDI Strategies - Volume 19, Issue 33

by Karla Kozak

I don’t know about you, but I love a good surprise. And the best surprises are the ones that come when you least expect it—not even an inkling that it’s on the horizon. ACDIS friends, I hope you’ll find that this is one of those surprises!

We have reopened the call for speakers for our two 2026 preconference events, the ACDIS Symposium: Outpatient CDI and the ACDIS Physician Advisor Forum. Both events will take place April 19–20, 2026, in Chicago.

Whether you’re building a program from the ground up or looking to take your efforts to the next level, the ACDIS Symposium: Outpatient CDI is dedicated exclusively to CDI in the outpatient and ambulatory settings. Meanwhile, the ACDIS Physician Advisor Forum offers education delivered by the nation’s leading physician advisors with options for both experienced physician advisors as well as physicians looking to break into CDI.

Maybe inspiration struck after the initial deadline last month, or perhaps this is the first time you’re hearing about these events. Whatever the reason that brings you to us, we’re thrilled to offer one final chance to apply to speak at either of these events.

As a reminder, sessions should be 60 minutes in length—50 minutes of lecture followed by 10 minutes of audience Q&A. Additionally, up to two speakers per selected session will receive complimentary admission to the event!

The applications have been reopened for a limited time only, though, so don’t wait! Submit your proposal by Sunday, August 24 to be considered. You can learn more about the application process here. When you’re ready, click here to apply. (Note: You will need to create an account to submit your proposal. The login for the application platform is separate from your ACDIS website login.)

Send any questions to info@acdis.org. We can’t wait to see what you come up with!
