Note from the Product Coordinator: Networking opportunities galore at ACDIS 2024! Plus, time is running out to save with Early Bird pricing!

One of my favorite parts of the annual ACDIS conference is getting to put faces to names. Whether it’s for CEU applications, podcast questions, committee meetings, or something else entirely, I email with so many members of the ACDIS community on a regular basis, but email is just so impersonal. There’s nothing like the spark you get from a face-to-face conversation—the internet just can’t compare.
And I know so many of you feel the same way, so I wanted to take a minute to point out a few opportunities you’ll have to meet up with your closest CDI friends and catch up at the 2024 ACDIS conference (and don’t wait much longer to register if you want to save!—more on that at the end).
Monday, April 8
- 3:06 p.m.: Just outside the conference doors, take in a total solar eclipse with viewing glasses sponsored by Iodine. But don’t be late as this eclipse is only visible for three minutes!
- 5:00 p.m.: First-time attendee? Look for a dedicated table near the ACDIS booth where you’ll be able to meet members of the ACDIS team and other first-time attendees and get tips and tricks for navigating the conference.
Tuesday, April 9
- ALL DAY: Wear your favorite ACDIS purple and orange attire to spot other attendees at the hotel.
- 12:30 p.m.: This is your chance to meet colleagues with similar interests and experience. During lunch, ACDIS CDI instructors and staff will host networking meet-ups for the following groups:
- Outpatient CDI
- Pediatric CDI
- CDI educators
- New and aspiring leaders
Wednesday, April 10
- ALL DAY: Wear your state pride to easily meet local friends.
- 10:45 a.m.: Join us in the exhibit hall for our dedicated poster viewing time, where you can network with exhibitors and ask poster creators questions about their initiatives and successes.
- 12:30 p.m.: At lunch, look for tables dedicated to your state’s local chapter or to an ACDIS networking group. This is the perfect chance to get together with other members of your local chapter or learn more about which local chapters exist in your region!
In addition to these specific meetups, the ACDIS conference also hosts breakfast, lunch, and refreshment breaks, which we encourage you to use to chat with our exhibitors and network with fellow CDI professionals.
But don’t wait much longer to register! Our discounted Early Bird pricing ends in a little over a week! Register by Monday, February 5 to save $100.
