• The East Mediterranean ACDIS international chapter met on October 18, 2022, via webinar. The program was titled "CDI: It’s Importance for Healthcare Strategic Transformation and RCM," and was presented by ACDIS Interim Director and Education Director Laurie Prescott, RN, MSN, CCDS, CCDS-O, CDIP, CRC, ACDIS Director of Programming Rebecca Hendren, Mr. Hussein Albishi, CHIM, CRCR, CIA, and Mr. Turki Ahmed Alahmari, BSc HIM, CHIM. The program covered CDI as a career path for clinicians, the roles of CDI in healthcare, the evolution of CDI practices, the future of CDI, and resources available to CDI professionals.
