Local chapter update: Leadership agreement forms will be sent out in January

Whether you’re a seasoned local chapter leader or about to start your first year, we want everyone to be aware of the upcoming local chapter agreement contract that will need to be filled out come January. Leaders will need to read over the agreement, sign, and return it by the end of January. While you can have as many unofficial chapter leaders as you like, three main leaders must sign the agreement form, each from different organizations.

December:

• The Arizona ACDIS chapter meets Friday, December 16, 12–1 p.m., via webinar. The program is titled, “Transforming the CDI Audit” and will be presented by Sydni Johnson, BSN, RN, CCDS. For information, contact Sydni Johnson (sydni.johnson@bannerhealth.com).

January:

• The Central Pennsylvania ACDIS chapter meets Friday, January 13, 2023, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., via webinar. For more information, contact Courtney Spangler (cspangler@gbmc.org).
• The Illinois ACDIS chapter meets Thursday, January 19, 2023, 12–1 p.m., via webinar. The program is titled, “Outpatient CDI: Taking CDI to the Next Level” and will be presented by Shirlivia Parker, MHA, RHIA, CDIP, BS-HIM.
