Local chapter update: Got questions on remote meetings, member engagement?
ACDIS Chapter Advisory Committee members serve as the advisors (as the name suggests) for all local chapter and networking group leaders on the common issues they face daily. While some of their guidance is published and updated annually in the Chapter Leadership Toolkit (available under the chapter map on this page), they also host biannual panel discussions open to all leaders.
Our next panel discussion will take place in July (exact date TBD) and will focus on remote meetings and member engagement. We know that, particularly post-pandemic, many chapters have pivoted to a primarily remote world and that can pose problems for engagement with members. During this panel discussion, members of the committee will share advice and tips around keeping your members plugged in to chapter events through email and virtual meetings.
If you have particular struggles around this topic, please feel free to send your questions to Associate Editorial Director Linnea Archibald at linnea.archibald@hcpro.com and she’ll be happy to work it into the conversation with the panel!
