Value, Technology, and Denials: 2024 Physician Advisor Mastermind Recap

Physician advisors have established themselves as key conduits between the medical staff and CDI department. Additionally, their influence often spans across care management, utilization management, quality, coding, and more. It is a constantly evolving role, as organizations work to determine how to make physician advisors most effective. As such, physician advisors often have a lot to share related to overcoming challenges.

The Physician Advisor Mastermind exists to connect these leaders and provide a forum for these discussions. During the 2024 term, members surveyed their peers on important topics to the profession, such as physician buy-in, demonstrating the value of the role, artificial intelligence, denials and contracting, and more. ACDIS is pleased to partner with Solventum to share key takeaways from this survey and the 2024 Physician Advisor Mastermind meetings, highlighting the implications for physician advisors to CDI across the country.
