Local chapter update: Resources for gathering new networking participants!

CDI Strategies - Volume 19, Issue 44

As the role of CDI specialists continues to grow, CDI professionals need to reach out to others in the field. Local meetings offer an avenue to share experiences and learn best practices. It also helps foster community, build networks, solve problems, and advance the discipline.

However, if you’ve never done this before, or have never done it in this discipline, this can be an intimidating challenge, which is why ACDIS has created a helpful tip sheet for this!

In our “How to gather networking participants,” ACDIS details the key elements for successful outreach and networking initiatives. In this sheet, you will find recommendations on:

  • Where to receive assistance, including ACDIS National details
  • Where to request assistance, including social media details
  • Who to request assistance from
  • What’s the best way to manage contact information

Click here to check out our local network fact sheet now!
