Note from the ACDIS Director: Tell us how we can help

ACDIS exists to serve the profession of CDI. That means everything we do is to provide education, support, or research that helps you be the best CDI professional you can be.

We determine where we spend our time by hearing from you, our members and community, in a large number of ways, including in direct conversation at the annual conference, through bringing people together on committees or work groups, and by asking you to fill out surveys.

While the CDI Week State of the Industry Survey and Salary Survey are our most visible annual surveys, because they produce the data that you need and can rely on, there is another just as important annual survey that actually has more impact than you may think.

We call it the ACDIS Community Survey as we welcome both members and non-members to share your input and we ask you to fill out the survey. You have until Friday, March 6.

Each year we ask for specific feedback on what we offer as an association and get ideas for what we need to cover in the coming year. This survey is crucial and we comb through the results. You’ll be amazed at how your comments can produce real results:

• People told us they often want to save the podcast episode for the weekend so they can listen and soak it in during their downtime: so, we extended the CEU period to include the weekend.
• We’ve heard from people that they need more pediatric resources, so we’ve worked diligently to ensure more pediatric articles, resources, and even a whole track at the 2026 conference.
• We heard that people find it hard to keep up with all the new information and resources offered, so we’re launching a quarterly email to members to list the new resources they have access to from the previous quarter and what’s coming up next.
• And finally, a personal one: I talk too fast on the podcast! This is helpful feedback and I promise I’m working on it! I genuinely get so excited when talking with my guests and sharing about all our amazing offerings that I get a little fast, so I’m working on it.
