The CDI education director is a senior leadership role with ACDIS, reporting to and working closely with the ACDIS director/director of CDI and revenue integrity.

The education director serves as a thought leader for ACDIS, driving educational direction, industry guidance, and running the ACDIS Advisory Board. They serve as an in-house subject matter expert, assisting with articles, answering member questions, providing feedback on product ideas, participating in focus groups and networking events, and serving as an ACDIS representative at internal and external live events.

The CDI education director serves as the lead instructor and chief materials author for HCPro's CDI education, including all off-the-shelf and customized training. The CDI education director also serves as manager for the CDI education specialists, as well as any CDI adjunct instructors.

We are seeking candidates with an advanced degree, four to 10 years of related experience, and either an RN license or a coding credential such as the RHIA or RHIT. Additionally, candidates must hold the CCDS certification (and the CCDS-O, while not required, is preferred).
