There are plenty of benefits and discounts that ACDIS members enjoy: $100 off or the annual ACDIS conference and $100 on both exam and recertification costs for CCDS/CCDS-O certification, for example. In addition to this, ACDIS also provides a variety of CEU offerings each year that are exclusive to members. These are in addition to the free opportunities available to the entire CDI community.

ACDIS members have access to exclusive benefits as well, including:

• CDI Journal: Published six times per calendar year, the Journal is jampacked with articles and how-tos that will provide real-world actionable advice. If you take the survey for each edition, you can earn 1 ACDIS CEU per issue. You also have the option to go back to past issues for a full year and take those CEs. CEUs per year: 6
• Quarterly Member Calls: Each quarter, members of the ACDIS Advisory Board join the ACDIS leadership team to discuss hot topics in CDI, such as case mix index or creating organization clinical criteria. These calls offer 1 ACDIS CEU and you can also go back a full 12 months to listen to previous calls and take those CEU surveys. This year, we addressed some of the hottest topics in the industry such as high impact queries and acute skin failure. CEUs per year: 4
• Surveys and guidance: ACDIS members receive valuable surveys such as the annual Salary Survey and exclusive white papers, like “Safeguarding Ethical Documentation Practices in Querying, Peer-to-Peer Discussion, and Technological Initiatives”
• Two free job postings a year, discounted additional posts, and the ability to post your resume on our Career Center
• Helpful tools accessed in our electronic Resource Library, including sample queries, policies, tip sheets, and samples
• Free email signature images to celebrate membership and certification statuses. (Members can access these images here)
• Opportunities to participate in an official ACDIS Local Chapter in your area, under the leadership of the Chapter Advisory Board
