Director’s Note: Nashville success, now onto Vegas! Conference committee members sought

CDI Strategies - Volume 7, Issue 13

Many thanks to the more than 1,000 ACDIS 2013 conference participants who made Nashville such a memorable experience! From vendors and staff, to speakers to attendees, there was so much supportive engagement, education, networking, and discussion regarding how to best advance the CDI profession. We have so many wonderful memories and we hope you do too.

If you were among those lucky enough to have attended please send an email letting us know the one main thing you’ll take back to your facility following the conference. Email ACDIS Association Director Melissa Varnavas at mvarnavas@cdiassociation.com. If you happen to have photos taken during the conference we’d love to have you share those also. Your comments and submissions could be used in the special conference section to be published in the July edition of CDI Journal.

ACDIS members now have access to all the PowerPoint presentations from the 6th Annual Conference in Nashville. This year’s conference featured more sessions than ever–seven different tracks for a range of CDI expertise from basic to advanced.

There were more 30 presentations and nearly 50 speakers. No doubt you couldn’t make it to every session, so take a moment to view the presentations in the ACDIS Forms & Tools Library.
Ifyou were not able to attend the conference, you can still review the slides now in the Forms & Tools Library and feel free to reach out to the speakers. As a reminder, ACDIS members have access to all the conference presentations going back to the very first conference. You can search the presentations by holding “Control F” and typing in the keyword of your search. So if you just loved a presentation by James Kennedy, MD, from 2011, you can type 2011 or Kennedy to find what you’re looking for.

Don’t forget to save-the-date for next year’s event May 7-9, 2014, at Bally's in Las Vegas!
