Local chapter updates: Big events held this week nationwide

One hundred and 10. 110. That’s how many CDI-related professionals will head to Sarasota Memorial Hospital this weekend to get their infusion of networking and education during the Florida ACDIS Chapter’s quarterly event there.

And that’s not all that’s going on this week.

Sixty CDI professionals come together for North Carolina’s quarterly event at Wilson Memorial Hospital for four great presentations on Friday including:

1. Donna Kennedy, Director of CDI Solutions Management for M*Modal on “Bridging the Gap with Closed Loop Clinical Documentation”
2. Vinu Jyothi, CDI Specialist with nThrive on “Data Driven Clinical Documentation for Continuous Improvement”
3. Jonathan Lozevski, MD, from Carolina Radiology, and Heather Baker, CCS, inpatient clinical data specialist on “Interventional Radiology Procedures and Coding”
4. Marie Thomas, MHA, CCDS, RHIT, CCS, COC, on “Identifying, Documenting, and Reporting Complications”

Georgia ACDIS Chapter also holds its event with nearly 60 attendees on Friday as well.

August:
