ACDIS update: 2024 CDI Week recap, plus pictures from one CDI program’s celebrations!

CDI Strategies - Volume 18, Issue 45

Like any exciting annual holiday or celebration, just because it’s over doesn’t mean we should be quick to forget! This year, CDI Week stepped into a whole new universe with the amount of education and resources offered on top of all the fun. But in case they haven’t come into your orbit yet, here’s a rundown at warp-speed of all this year’s resources that are still available:

  • 2024 CDI Week Industry Overview Survey! This year’s survey included questions about provider engagement, CDI query metrics and technology, risk adjustment, denial trends and CDI involvement, and nontraditional settings.
  • Infinite Opportunities: 2024 CDI Week State of the Industry webinar! Missed the panel discussing industry survey findings during CDI Week? Not to worry! The recording for this free webinar is now available, and the CEU period will remain open for one calendar year (until September 19, 2025).
  • 2024 CDI Week Q&As! For each topic covered in the industry survey, ACDIS asked members of the Furthering Education Committee to share their thoughts on the data gleaned, as well as personal insights and experiences.
  • CDI Week activities and handouts! While official celebrations might be over, the space-themed activities and handouts submitted by the Furthering Education Committee are still available. If you haven’t tried out any of the advice from the ‘Stellar Self-Care’ handout yet, you’re missing out!

ACDIS hopes you had an amazing CDI Week, virtual or remote, quietly with some self-care or loudly in a group party! We love seeing how everyone has celebrated each other and their limitless potential in this industry, and want to give a special thanks to Kristie Perry for sending in some fun pictures of the Erlanger CDI Week lunch celebration. Here they are below!
