ACDIS update: Remember to submit FY 2020 IPPS proposed rule comments to CMS by Monday, June 24

CDI Strategies - Volume 13, Issue 27

Following the release of the fiscal year (FY) 2020 inpatient prospective payment system (IPPS) proposed rule at the end of April, the ACDIS and broader CDI communities were abuzz with concern over the massive number of CC/MCC downgrades proposed.

The ACDIS CDI Regulatory Committee recently finalized its comments and sent them to CMS.  There is strength in numbers, however. So, if you have specific concerns or thoughts related to the IPPS proposed rule, remember to submit them to CMS by 5 p.m. eastern on Monday, June 24, for consideration.

If you plan to submit a comment, but don’t know how to formulate the letter, take a look at the templates shared by the Regulatory Committee.

Thank you, in advance, for taking the time to voice your concerns.
