ACDIS update: Voting for new Advisory Board members ends May 1!

CDI Strategies - Volume 17, Issue 16

The ACDIS Advisory Board plays a critical role in informing and influencing the decision-making process for ACDIS’ leadership and the organization in general. Therefore, each year we open up the opportunity for ACDIS members to choose your next leaders and cast your vote in the Advisory Board election, open for voting until Monday, May 1!

Advisory Board members will serve three-year terms from the spring of 2023 to the spring of 2026. We have four wonderful candidates running for clinician board member seats, of which there are two open vacancies. Help decide the future of ACDIS by looking over their backgrounds and qualifications in CDI and why they want to serve on the board, and then select two that you think would best fit the association. You can read more about the candidates here.

(Please note that ACDIS only received one candidate each for the open HIM/coding and physician positions. As a result, those individuals were reviewed by the ACDIS Advisory Board, which determined they were excellent candidates and approved their applications.)

Voting is open to ACDIS members only, so please make sure that you are logged in before voting!

The process is simple: Log onto the website, view our voting page (open to ACDIS members only), review the candidates’ bios and election statements, and cast your votes here.

You can also copy and paste the following URL into your browser: https://acdis.org/2023-acdis-advisory-board.

Voting closes at the end of the day on Monday, May 1, 2023.
