Local chapter update: Establish your 2019 calendars now

ACDIS allows local chapters and networking groups to meet at least twice a year, but it recommends events be held on a quarterly basis to keep networking activities at the top of attendees’ minds without being too frequent to interfere with organizers’ and members’ daily work/life obligations.

The close of the year represents a great opportunity for chapter leadership to get together and map out the coming calendar of events. Arranging for host facilities and determining broad-picture session focus areas now helps remove some of the guesswork from planning and can set the stage for members who will no doubt be planning their own 2019 activity calendars.

The leadership toolkit on the ACDIS site has a number of calendar focused event recommendations as well as other session suggestions for leaders to pull from.

December:

• The Maine ACDIS chapter meets Thursday, December 20, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in the Lepage Large Conference Room in Lewiston. For information, contact Tammy Jutras (tjutras@stmarysmaine.com).

January 2019:
