Local chapter update: Have you signed up yet to attend the live panel discussion for chapter leaders?
Are you a current volunteer assisting an ACDIS local chapter or networking group in some capacity? The ACDIS Chapter Advisory Committee will now be hosting a panel discussion for all such volunteers to attend twice a year, starting with a summer webinar you can register to attend on Friday, July 28, at 1 p.m. eastern.
The panel discussion will be led by ACDIS Associate Editorial Director Linnea Archibald and feature the following members of the Chapter Advisory Committee:
- Amy Bush from the pediatric ACDIS networking group (APDIS)
- Paula Rector from Georgia
- Rani Stoddard from California
- Jenny Taylor from Idaho/Washington
- Ashely Vahey from Pennsylvania
During this call, committee members will be discussing tools and resources available to chapter and networking group volunteers, as well as give concrete advice on the following topics:
- Soliciting and selecting new speakers
- Selecting topics
- Communicating expectations
- Evaluating speaker and event success
