Local chapter update: Reminder of new procedures for chapter leaders and members

As you might have seen, the ACDIS national leadership team recently released several new processes for local chapter leaders and members to follow. These new methods include those for

• Requesting chapter information
• Submitting newsletters
• Applying for CEUs
• Requesting chapter rosters

April:

• The Central Pennsylvania ACDIS chapter meets Friday, April 22, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., via webinar. For information, contact Courtney Spangler (cspangler@gbmc.org).
• The Indiana ACDIS chapter meets Friday, April 22, 12 p.m., via webinar for a lunch and learn. The topic is CVA/stroke documentation and specificity. For information, contact Sarah Booker (sara.masters@ascension.org).

• The Minnesota ACDIS chapter meets Wednesday, April 27. The program is titled “Searching for Underlying Cause: Why is Symptom Etiology Coding So Difficult?” presented by Leigh Poland, RHIA, CCS, executive director for education at AGS health. • The Tennessee ACDIS chapter meets Friday, April 29, 1–2 p.m., via webinar. The program is titled “What’s the Risk?
